Python is a clean, well-written, well-ported scripting language. I liked it a lot. It has full reflection mechanisms and a fairly simple syntax. It feels in many ways more like Smalltalk. But it isn’t, and that is OK.
(That said, as soon as I picked up the pickaxe at OOPSLA in 2000, I never touched python again. Ruby won me over in a day.)
